Your next encounter is within Driftveil City. When you enter, Cheren will tell you that he has heard rumblings that Team Plasma are somewhere within the city. Having looked around, you will soon find them to the south of the city in the Cold Storage where the sage, Zinzolin is plotting with many Plasma Grunts. Defeat the grunts and Clay will appear and have the Plasma members taken away.
When you reach the Gym, you will see that Clay is being confronted by Ghetsis and Zinzolin. In Chargestone Cave, you will find that a group called Shadow Triad are waiting for you. Taking you downstairs, you will find that there are numerous Team Plasma grunts to battle. Later, after you have defeated the Icirrus City Gym, Shadow Triad will appear to you and will tell you that N is waiting for you in the Dragonspiral Tower.
There are numerous grunts for you to find and defeat so be sure to have a powerful team with you. After N has flown off, you, Bianca, Cheren and Alder will talk about what to do next. In the Relic Castle, you will encounter the sage Ryoku who will tell you that you have been expected and that Ghetsis is awaiting you beneath. Fight through the grunts and you'll find Ghetsis and Alder in the basement.
He will leave and you can climb out of the castle. When you travel through the Tubeline Bridge, you'll be stopped by Ghetsis who will say that he knows you have the stone but you wont be able to stop them from achieving their goals.
When you get into Opelucid City, you will view another speech by Ghetsis. This speech follows the same patterns as before, but with more of a threat with Ghetsis threatening to use the dragon against them if they don't. As the people leave, they question whether or not to capitulate while Iris and Drayden, the Opelucid Gym Leaders state that he is misguided and will teach you the story of how the dragons came to be.
The next time you'll find Team Plasma is after you have defeated the Elite Four. When you enter the Champion's Room, you'll find that N is there already having already defeated Alder. N goes to the top and says for you to join him so you can battle and see whose ideals are right. As you enter the castle, you will find the six sages and as they attack you, the gym leaders of Unova all unite and occupy them while you travel through the castle. Go through the castle and you'll learn that N has lived there as a child and that two girls, who claim to be goddesses, feel that N is very dangerous due to his naivity.
Team Plasma are known as the villainous team from the Unova region. Ghetsis , one of Team Plasma's leaders, exploited us in an attempt to rule over Unova but his plan failed and lost to the Hero.
Two years has passed since our defeat we returned to the Unova region with a new goal to rule Unova. Team Plasma's goal is to have a friendly environment for new and veteran players but not just friendly we plan to make you feel at home a as if you known us forever and to have a place to enjoy yourself were light on rules and were not strict on rules and we also take suggestions from the members on things they would like to see in the guild, also several our members also do PvP and we have our sights on getting on the leaderboard soon.
We do a semi weekly clean our for inactive members however if your taking a leave for a certain inform us before hand to avoid getting removed. This is a given were a player friendly guild so please be friendly with each other. As stated before our goal is to make you feel at home and have fun so lets make the most of it. Colress will ask you if you intend to fight Team Plasma, and if you do, he'll give you his machine, the Colress Machine, to aid in your quest. Return to the Seaside Cave and you'll be able to use the Colress Machine in order to remove the Crustle from your path. This will allow you access to the coast where Team Plasma is docked.
Marlon will appear, having been able to activate the bridge that connects the ship to the coast and allows you to enter. As you go in, you have to defeat numerous grunts and participate in a warp tile puzzle to enter the final room of the frigate where Kyurem is being stored and used as an energy source. Zinzolin will appear once again and challenge you and your rival in a double battle with a grunt again.
Defeat him and your rival will state that the Liepard that the grunt used was the Purrloin that was stolen from him a long time ago. The sage states that they won't fail this time and once again, calls for the Shadow Triad to dispose of you. When you awaken on the coast, Cheren will appear and mention that Team Plasma have been spotted in the Giant Chasm. When you enter the Giant Chasm, you will learn that a spy from old Team Plasma is in new Team Plasma, the grunt met in Driftveil City, and he has cleared the way into the Giant Chasm for you.
As you go in, you'll meet with Rood who will state that he is trying to negotiate with new Team Plasma to follow N's ideals, but new Team Plasma state that they do not listen to traitors. After defeating several grunts, you're able to pass as Rood continues to negotiate. Go in and you have to enter the Plasma Frigate once again. This time, as you go through the Frigate, you go through the basement where you have to defeat numerous Plasma Grunts in order to obtain a password to open the door.
This password is from a random and so you need to battle the Plasma grunts to get hints as to what the password could be. Once you make your way through, you'll see Kyurem in the core again and move onto the helm of the ship where Colress is. He challenges you. Once you've defeated him, he'll give you clearance to go to Ghetsis' room since he wants to see you defeat him.
Each sage will tell some back history on Team Plasma before being arrested. They also reveal that they rescued Ghetsis from being arrested and he has now fled. However, one scientist kept working on it, annoyed that N denied his talent. This scientist reconstructed Genesect and powered up the gun on its back. The new Team Plasma first appears at Floccesy Ranch where they try to steal a Herdier , but they are stopped.
After fending them off, Hugh believes they have retreated to Castelia City, where they are found in Castelia Sewers. After defeating Burgh at the Castelia Gym , Colress will use a special machine to clear the Crustle blocking off Route 4. There Zinzolin appears and reveals they have a new plan to take over the Unova region before telling the Shadow Triad to remove the trio from the ship.
On the way, the player and Hugh encounter Zinzolin in Lacunosa Town where they battle him and a grunt in a tag battle. They are quickly defeated and retreat to the Seaside Cave , although Opelucid City remains frozen for some time. After winning at the Humilau Gym , the player heads to Route 22 where Colress gives them his device to make the Crustle roadblocks disappear. Upon making it past the Crustle, the player defeats the Team Plasma members inside the Plasma Frigate, but once again is removed from the ship by the Shadow Triad and watches the ship fly off.
They track it down to the Giant Chasm where once again they must fight their way through the ship. Upon the defeat of Zinzolin and the new boss Colress, Ghetsis reveals himself as the true mastermind behind Team Plasma.
After defeating the Shadow Triad, the player gives chase to Ghetsis and finds him in the deepest part of the Giant Chasm, where he summons Kyurem. Ghetsis orders Kyurem to attack the player, but the attack is stopped at last minute by N who arrives to save them. The player then takes on the new Dragon as well as Ghetsis and puts an end to his plans once and for all. Colress then disbands Team Plasma for good, taking the Plasma Frigate and docking it outside the P2 Laboratory where he continues his research.
There is also a group of former Team Plasma members, still loyal to N, who reside in the house just above Driftveil Gym with Rood , Anthea, and Concordia. As such, Rood gives the player N's Zorua , deeming them a caring Trainer. They also confront the new Team Plasma at the Giant Chasm and help hold them off so the player can enter the Plasma Frigate. Before Team Plasma's proper appearance in the anime, Giovanni mentioned a secret organization operating in the Unova region and wanted to draw them out.
N debuted in New Places Familiar Faces! Team Plasma had a role in Genesect and the Legend Awakened , where multiple grunts were seen overseeing the awakening of the newly revived Genesect Army. After successfully obtaining the stone, Ghetsis performed a ritual that resurrected Reshiram from the stone.
Ghetsis, Colress, and the Plasma Grunts present were subsequently arrested by the International Police , thus bringing down the organization. Unlike other teams, Team Plasma has named grunts in the anime.
